Question by angie: Are these brownies too good to be true?
I sustitited the 1 cup sugar with splenda, not sure how much splenda compared to sugar measurement to use.
1/2 cup un sweetened cocoa powder
4 ounces baby food (used organic butternut)
3 egg whites
1 ‘cup’ splenda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 cup flour

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Spray 8-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
combine all ingredients. Bake for 30 min or until springy to touch. cool on rack. makes 16.

Number of Servings: 16

It says that per serving the calorie count is only 28.1 calories!
How can that be?

Also some recipes claim to have brownies that are less than 50 calories per serving by just adding black beans, apple sauce or a diet soda to a plain brownie mix? Could those work too?
